St Peter church, Carenage, will be the venue for a one-day retreat for men, to be held today (April 20) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Building Blocks is the title of the retreat, with the general theme taken from Mt 4:18-22“Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”

The focus of the retreat is to enable men to better understand the relationship between their faith and their vocation, be it married life, priesthood, single life and single consecrated life. The importance of fatherhood will also be addressed.

Parish priest Msgr Cuthbert Alexander will speak, along with Vicar for Administration Fr Jason Gordon, Fr Dwight Merrick of the Men’s Movement, Companions of the Transfigured Christ formerly known as God’s Anointed New Generation (GANG), People of Praise Community and others.

The retreat has been organised by the St Peter’s Family Life Unit.
