Bishop-elect Neil Tiedemann

Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Thomas Gullickson informed the Antilles Episcopal Conference (AEC) May 20, that His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI had provided for the vacant see of Mandeville, Jamaica by naming Rev Fr Neil Tiedemann CP (Passionists), at present the Second Consultor of the Province of St Paul of the Cross in the United States of America, as the diocese's third bishop.

Bishop-elect Neil Tiedmann was ordained to the priesthood on May 16, 1975 and before his election as Consultor to the Provincial of the Passionists, worked exclusively in pastoral ministry in the United States and in Honduras.
