Pilgrims leave for Fatima and Lourdes

On Wednesday, September 17, 51 pilgrims will be flying out of Piarco on a pilgrimage organised by Camsel (Catholic Media Services Limited). The pilgrimage was initially a fund-raising project of the then Archdiocesan Communications Commission.

The pilgrims will be heading for Lourdes to take part in the 150th anniversary of the Marian apparitions. They will however first visit Fatima, where the Blessed Virgin made several apparitions to three young shepherd children, then journey through Spain to visit the cathedrals in Salamanca and Bourgos. The 10-day pilgrimage, from September 17 to 27, will have as Spiritual Director Fr John Theodore.

We wish them all God’s blessings and a safe journey to their destination and back.
