 On Sunday, January 24, Most Rev Lawrence Aloysius Burke, SJ, DD, OJ, Archbishop Emeritus of Kingston and immediate past President of the Antilles Episcopal Conference (2003-2008) died peacefully in Kingston, Jamaica.
The Catholic News extends sincere and prayerful condolences to the Archdioceses of Kingston, Jamaica and Nassau, the Bahamas, the Antilles Episcopal Conference and to the family of Archbishop Burke. May he rest in peace.
