The Joy of His Coming is the theme for the 2010 series of nightly Christmas services organised by the Christian Council of Trinidad and Tobago.
Archbishop Edward Gilbert will bless and open the crèche on the Brian Lara Promenade (corner Abercromby St, north) at the first service on Monday, December 20. The Archbishop will also give a reflection on the chosen bible text – Luke 2:8-20.
There will be a worship leader and homilist from a different Christian denomination each night, and time for intercessory prayer. A number of choirs from various Churches have been invited to sing Christmas hymns and carols. The Services begin at 7.00 p.m. and the series closes Monday, December 27. Members of all Churches as well as the general public are invited.
