Thirty Deaf people and ten tutors attended the workshop at Central Regional Sport Complex every Saturdays from March 19 to May 21. They learned a lot of new some sign, headline in newspaper, English way translate deaf way and group discussion.
At the closing ceremony at VIP lounge, National stadium in POS, they received the certificates and prizes. Thaddeus Kalloo got the prize for most improvement. Thank to the President of the Trinidad and Tobago Aid for the Hearing Impaired Board, Felix Celestine. He spoke the opening remark and the president of Deaf Empowerment Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago, Bryan Rodrigues. He did the speech and the presentation show. Also thank to tutors and interpreters.
