Linda Wyke, a former director of the Religious Education Department (now know as the Archdiocesan Catechetical Office), was recognised for her pastoral work at an Oct 28 dinner. Wyke, well-known for her work in Catechetics at parish, archdiocesan and regional level, had the honour of unveiling the plaque to re-name The Linda Wyke Catechetical Office and Resource Room, located beneath the San Fernando presbytery.
The dinner, held at the Bishop Mendes Auditorium and organised mainly by the San Fernando parish-based Word and Deed Catholic organisation, was part of the parish’s series of events to celebrate its 225th anniversary of establishment.
