She is forever thankful for her Roman Catholic faith which has influenced her life and kept her grounded. She owes a debt of gratitude to her God for sustaining her throughout her life and for lavishing so many blessings upon her. Last Sunday, October 30 she celebrated her 103rd birthday. Congratulations and best wishes to Lucy on reaching this milestone. The name Lucy signifies light. Lucy Dolabaille Alexis Guerrero has certainly epitomised her name. She has been the beacon of light for her family, always setting the right values and pattern and guiding her family along life’s journey. She has been an inspiration to many. The Almighty in his wisdom has graciously blessed her with long life – 103 years – eight children: Jean Quammie (dec), Deborah Wharton, Loudette Alexis, Veronica Alexis-Tracey, Albert Alexis (dec), Alma Garcia, Nola Stanley, David Alexis; 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
