The Belizean Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) will host their 33rd annual national convention this weekend (November 6 – 8) at Holy Redeemer Parish Hall, Belize City. The event will be celebrated under the theme Mary, a star of hope for us (Rev 12:1). Bishop Dorick Wright is expected to open the convention with a welcome address. Fr Maurice Nutt, CSsR, keynote speaker, is expected to deliver two talks. Workshop topics include Pray and Worship, Sex and Sexuality, Spiritual Warfare, Praise and Worship, Repentance and Forgiveness. A March for Jesus will conclude the convention; the march begins Sunday from Holy Redeemer and ends at St John’s College auditorium with a healing service. – edited from The Christian Herald, Belize.
