 Archbishop Patrick Pinder of Nassau, Bahamas called on the Judiciary to listen to the voices opposed to capital punishment in his homily at this year’s Red Mass. The Church’s annual celebration for the Judiciary was held earlier this year at the St Francis Xavier Cathedral. Among those present was president of the Caribbean Court of Justice, former Chief Justice of Trinidad & Tobago, Michael de la Bastide.
