Dr Douglas partnered with the Knights of Columbus for the April 25 event, held at Pope John Paul II Family and Youth Centre, St Joseph Church, Long Island, New York.

The event took on a distinctive Dominican feel as the island’s food was served, its music played and art exhibited. Singers and dancers from Dominica also performed for the 80-odd diners, which including Msgr William John-Lewis. (edited from The Chronicle)
