Hundreds of friends, family and well-wishers attended the June 3 ordination of two priests and two deacons at Our Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral, Roseau. Bishop Gabriel Malzaire of Roseau diocese presided.
The clergy in Dominica were joined by 14 overseas-based priests to concelebrate the Mass. The new priests promised to exercise the ministry of the word worthily and wisely, preach the gospel and teach the Catholic faith, while the deacons promised to resolve to discharge the office of deacon with humble charity in order to assist the priestly order and to benefit the Christian people.
