Guyana orphanageThe new St John Bosco Orphanage in Plaisance, Guyana, costing Guy $90M, will be completed and occupied before year end.

The new structure will be more spacious than the current one, with an increase in sleeping accommodations (young boys in dorms and older boys in rooms), a living room, sitting room, study rooms, computer room, library, counselling room and laundry.

The Sisters of Mercy, which has run the orphanage since 1902, raised the funds through local and overseas donations. - Edited from Catholic Standard
