Dominica-born Sr Martha Sebastian made her final profession and became a sister of St Joseph of Cluny (SJC) on August 22 at Our Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral, Roseau. Chief celebrant Archbishop Robert Rivas, OP of the archdiocese of Castries, St Lucia, said by making her final profession she was embarking on “a lifelong commitment to Christ, a life giving sacrifice, a gift of one self forever.”“In a world of liquid modernity you have demonstrated your obedience, dedication and belief in God. You are standing for something symbolic, you are entering a commitment and relationship forever.”
