A sweet geera pork, a tasty curry duck, grandmother’s specially-prepared chicken or a golden king fish. Sounds familiar? Well stop boasting and prove it!

This is your parish’s opportunity to prove it to the whole of Trinidad and Tobago and win beautiful challenge trophies with cash prizes. Just enter St Paul’s parish, Couva St Paul’s Cook-Out. You can put money where your mouth is and can proudly display your trophy in your parish.

Because of the year dedicated to St Paul and the massive renovation of “his” church, the parish is having the St Paul’s Cook-Out on Saturday, January 10 at the church grounds, Southern Main Road, Couva from 7.30 p.m. with lots of prizes, fun and challenge trophies.

Anyone can enter this competition: all you have to do is to cater for 50 persons while preparing your special dish of any meat or sea food, name your dish after anything or anyone from St Paul’s writings, fill out the competition form and be there by 6 p.m. with your prepared dish.

You will receive one free dinner ticket, an apron and a head tie. But hurry because we need to know what you are preparing in order to have a variety and not too many of one type of dish. Our three judges are from different parishes.

You need to walk with your supporters too. Why? For the people’s choice!!! Tickets for this grand event are being sold at $200 per ticket, so encourage your supporters to purchase their tickets quickly as this event is catering for a limited amount of diners.
