No shortage of love
by Sr Annette Chow, SJC

The rose of this photo brings to mind a little poem I read:

The child who brought me one small rose

I taught him how to write his name
Some nursery rhymes, a children's game.
And when he brought me one small rose
He brought more heaven than he knows
For woven with the rose's scent
His wordless love was eloquent.
And he skipped away. But for awhile
I could not stir, nor could I say
How love possessed me all that day.
Eileen Lomasney (Light from Another Room)

A rose for the three strangers who stopped me three times on my way fron Rio Claro to let me know that my hub cap was loose. The third one took it off and got me to keep it safe. You made my day!

A rose for the driver of PBX2665 who accompanied me all the way from Marabella to Princes Town when I got lost even though he was going to Whitelands!

A rose for the employee at Catholic News who brought June some fruit which I could share in! You all convince us that there is no shortage of love in T&T.
