The St John the Baptist RC Church on St John Road , St Augustine hosts a Ministry Fair today, Sunday, March 8 beginning at 9.00 a.m. on the church grounds.

Objective of this fair is to highlight the various ministries working in the parish in an effort to create a better understanding of the ways Church members can contribute towards building a wholesome community by reaching out to all through contributions of Time, Talent and Treasure.

There will be display booths, video presentations and mini-workshops. A special prize will be awarded for the most creative booth.

Seven focus areas are planned - Catechists, Liturgy, Social, Spiritual, Finance and Vocations.

The fair will attempt to highlight the dire need for vocations by having presentations done by the various religious orders in Trinidad – the Carmelite Friars and Sisters, the Jesuits, Dominican Sisters and Friars, the Benedictines, the FMI, the Diocesan priesthood and several others.
