Sunday July 29, 2007 LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Proud of T&T priests abroad

DEAR EDITOR: Thank you for the recent articles on the work of Trinidad priests abroad, one in Mexico, the other in the US on pilgrimage to Medjugorje.

It shows Trinidad & Tobago to be conscious and proud of its missionary vocation and commitment, not just turned in on itself. Ours is a dynamic Church, both at home and abroad. Please let us have more news of the work of these priests, nuns, brothers and lay people in foreign lands.

I understand there is a Holy Ghost Father from the Trinidad Province who has been working in Africa for nearly 50 years. He has founded a Religious Order of priests and lay people who have been sent as missionaries to other countries including the USA. This is a great achievement. Please tell us about his work.
Thank you

Touch of Christ says thanks

DEAR EDITOR: I wish to use this medium to personally thank some generous friends who assisted the Touch of Christ Group with their recent events. They assisted with time, talent and/or treasure and I really appreciate. It is indeed an encouragement to the group.

Hearty thanks to Marilyn Moore, Grace and Lennox Warner, Bernice Thorne, Joanne Weekes, Cecilia Bushell, Jocelyn Luces, Marilyn Wilson, Isis Francis, Denyse and Terry Sampson, Winnifred Nurse, Daniel Holder, Ricardo Elllis and Sheldon Warner.

May God continue to shower them with blessings and return to them - pressed down, shaken together and running over - all that they share with others. Thanks a million.
Thank you Jesus
June Bruton  via email
