SIGNIS Caribbean meeting

Following on the heels of last week’s Caribbean School for Catholic Communication (CSCC).

The CSCC will host a special two-day Caribbean convocation of the international Catholic media organisation, SIGNIS. The meeting will be held at the Living Water Community Centre in Port of Spain, from this evening, Sunday, August 13 and continues all day on Monday, August 14.

Although there will be no international SIGNIS representative, participants from Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago will work out a constitution for SIGNIS-Caribbean.

One of the many objectives of SIGNIS is to engage in activities that motivate and encourage participation in the betterment of the communications environment and to support media education at all levels.
