Diocesan youth coordinators
of the AEC meet in Trinidad
 

The Diocesan Youth coordinators of the Antilles Episcopal Conference (AEC) participated in a special meeting and formation programme at the St John Vianney and Ugandan Martyrs Regional Seminary in Trinidad from July 10 to 15.

The meeting was chaired by Bishop Robert Rivas, OP, Chairperson Antilles Episcopal Conference Youth Commision (AECYC).

The goal of the meeting was to begin planning the 2007 AEC Youth Assembly, Evaluation of the AEC Youth Missionary Programme and preliminary planning for World Youth Day 2008 in Sydney, Australia.

The AECYC is pleased to announce that the next AEC Youth Assembly will be held in Kingston, Jamaica from July 13 to 22, 2007 under the theme: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life” John 14:6.

The assembly will be open to youth and young adults aged 16 and older. Bishop Rivas, OP has also declared the AEC Youth Assembly Song Competition officially open.

Original entries are invited from musically inclined persons based on the theme of the 2007 Assembly.
