Corosal chapel

On the morning of Sunday, July 8, Archbishop Edward Gilbert arrived in the small and rustic community of Corosal to officially bless our chapel, the Church of the Good Shepherd.

After four years of hard labour and determination by the members of our community, the well-constructed and well-designed “cathedral” in the pristine community was going to be blessed.

Archbishop Gilbert presided at the high-spirited Mass with assistance from parish priest, Fr Steve Duncan and our very own Fr Wilfred John (who is located at Cedros). During the Mass, which attracted people from within and outside of the parish, Michael Devette, Joseph Sabola and Charles Sabola also received the sacrament of Holy Eucharist.

After Mass, presentations were made to the Archbishop and all persons who were instrumental in the completion of the Chapel.
