Mass to honour Chinese community
 

Archbishop Edward Gilbert will celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday, October 8, in honour of the members of the Chinese community and in recognition of their contribution over the years to the society and the Church in Trinidad and Tobago. Mass begins at 9 a.m.
Earlier this month Government declared October 12, 2006, a holiday in commemoration of the arrival of Chinese immigrants in Trinidad and Tobago, 200 years ago.
