Sr Carmen did her novitiate in Trinidad after which she returned to St Vincent to profess her final vows and to say thank you to the parishioners and environment that nurtured her vocation.
Bishop Robert Rivas presided at the Mass at which Bishop Anthony Dickson of Barbados, Fr Garth Eversley O Carm from Trinidad and other priests of St Vincent concelebrated. A number of Carmelite Sisters from Trinidad also attended.
“Sister Carmen is a beautiful person, she has been a tremendous witness to God’s love within our community,” Sr Antoinette Dickie, Mother General of Corpus Christi Carmelites said.
