Bishop Donald Reece

On the occasion of Antigua and Barbuda’s 25th anniversary of Independence on November 1, Bishop Donald Reece has been awarded the Grand Cross of the Most Illustrious Order of Merit (GCM) For Services to the Community.

Bishop Reece, a Jamaican by birth, was ordained Bishop on October 8, 1981. The Diocese of St John’s-Basseterre includes the islands of Antigua and Barbuda as well as St Kitts, Nevis, Anguilla, Montserrat, and the British Virgin Islands.
