Roy Raghunanan and Roy Francis proudly display their gold medals

At the recent Senior Games held at the Jean Pierre Complex two gentlemen, Roy Raghunanan of St. Andrew Kaggwa Vistabella, and Roy Francis of the Tortuga Parish teamed up to capture gold medals in the doubles category of the Lawn Tennis tournament in what can be truly described as a Royal victory.

With a display of skilful footwork and powerful shots, in a performance which belied their ages and which would have made Roger Federer and Raphael Nadal proud, they defeated their opponents in two sets out of three: 6-1, 4-6 and 7-6 in the final set with a tie-breaker.
