Biggest prayer breakfast
at St Michael's in Grenada

It’s the third year and biggest yet! The St Michael’s RC Church prayer breakfast.

Held at the Grenada Trade Center Annex, the prayer breakfast brought some 300 persons to an unforgettable gathering on the morning of October 25, a day of Thanksgiving in Grenada celebrated every year in memory of the American invasion, which took place in 1983. According to Msgr Lamontagne it is a gathering of prayer after which we have breakfast!

Guest speaker from Trinidad, Kay Pierre, gave a powerful testimony of her life and being called to witness – the theme chosen for the morning’s event. Faith, Hope and Charity – three words given as guidelines for the Christian duties we are called to perform.

The church choir and a guest band serenaded the gathering while a scrumptious breakfast was served. The event lasted about three hours.
