| Fr Nathasingh leads Patronal Feast in St Thomas |
||
Fr Trevor Nathasingh of Trinidad returned to St Thomas (US Virgin Islands) to lead the Patronal Feast Mission at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral on June 22-24. He was assisted by Sharon Jackson-Tobias of Trinidad on guitar. The theme of the mission was Celebration of Faith, Friendship, and Love.
As Sharon Jackson-Tobias sang and played guitar, Rev Neil Scantlebury and Fr Trevor Nathasingh prayed over congregants SS Peter and Paul Cathedral's Patronal Feast Day Celebration included a morning Mass and a social at the SS Peter and Paul School courtyard on June 26. Parish ministries including the Senior Choir, 6.30 a.m. , Door Choir, Ushers, Hispanic Community, Youth Group, Catholic Daughters of America, St Jude Prayer Group, Magnificat and Knights of Columbus held court at various tents. Milo 's Kings provided the music. Events included a hat parade, Hispanic youth group dancers, Lockhart Elementary School Adult Dancers, movies, barbecues, children's races, dance and more.
