CSCC 2005

The annual Caribbean School for Catholic Communications will be held again this year at the Emmaus Retreat Centre in Arima from August 7 to 13.

The general theme for this 3-year cycle, which began last year, is Communications and the Religious Imagination. This year's sub-theme is “Creating a Culture of Peace Through Music”.

Last year's sub-theme was “Creating a Culture of Peace Through Art” and in 2006 it will be “Creating a Culture of Peace Through Literature”.

In 2004 we were graced with the presence of Jackie Hinkson renowned artist who shared his knowledge and talent with the whole school. This year we look forward to various professionals from the world of music sharing with us.

Once again we welcome participants from all over the Caribbean region.

This year we have added two new workshops – “Photography” and “Web Design for the Parish”.

All workshops are specifically designed to move participants from basic knowledge, to organising production and becoming proficient in the medium selected.

Past participants are reminded that they must fill in the registration form found on page 6 of this issue and send it in as soon as possible to:

Suzanne Dowdy or Jennifer Jennings at Living Water Community - 109 Frederick St , POS.
