Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Seminary Board, Bishop Donald Reece of the diocese of St John's-Basseterre presided at last Tuesday's Mass to celebrate the new academic year at the Regional Seminary, Mount St Benedict. Co-presiding were AEC Vice-president, Bishop Robert Kurtz of the Diocese of Hamilton , Bermuda , and Archbishop Edward Gilbert.

Several bishops of the Antilles Episcopal Conference (AEC), in Trinidad last week for meetings of the various Boards of the AEC also concelebrated.

Among the bishops present were: Archbishop Kelvin Felix of the Archdiocese of Castries, Bishop Robert Rivas of Kingstown , St Vincent , Bishop Gabriel Malzaire of Roseau , Dominica , Bishop Vincent Darius of St George's-in-Grenada and Bishop Du Four of Montego Bay, Jamaica.
