Ai Ai Aieee!

Parang almost died. Then through the inspired work of Daisy Voisin and the Parang Association, new life came and they succeeded in saving a tradition.

At the opening of the season in Lopinot, after a few bands had performed, the lights went out.

Instead of killing the night, the groups huddled together and mike-less continued singing and having fun. Long live the spirit of parang!

In this photo, the men are at a home in Talparo. They capture the joy and vitality of a parang experience.

Mary again visits Elizabeth , bringing Jesus and receiving hospitality. There is a mutual giving as hearts and fridges are opened to the stranger and the neighbour and the community are enriched. Jesus is born again because he enjoys being human. Ai eee!
