Meet the persons who have worked on putting this paper.
Marisha Darneaud, Co-Editor
"I never knew that working with Vision was going to be so much fun as well as so much hard work yet I love it with all my heart.
This paper and journalism help me to evangelize as well as use my talents to glorify God. I am so glad for this opportunity; I have met so many really nice folks thus far.
Vision keeps me proactive, I always have to be thinking about sourcing articles all the time.
My advice to you my fellow young people is get involved and share part of your life experiences, use your gifts and help someone else come closer to Christ, that is the best gift that you can offer a person.
There are so many experiences and things that I can't mention because of lack of space but thank God for this opportunity, may Vision grow from strength to strength and be circulated in many more countries."
Raycy Rousseau, Assistant Editor
"Writing has always been a part of my life. Vision brings me closer to my passion and got me to know it better.
In my year with Vision I have grown as a writer and I am a lot closer to achieving my goal to be a journalist. Vision has given me exposure as a writer and allowed me to be a critic of my own work by being an editor.
If nothing else it has given me the opportunity to meet some remarkable young people that have similar goals as myself.
Thus far, writing for Vision has been an incredible learning experience and I hope that I continue to grow as a writer as we age together. "
Annabella Morenzie, Public Relations Officer and the liaison between Vision and Sr Kathy Joseph, OP of the Catholic Youth Secretariat.
"Working with Vision has done a lot for me. Vision has helped me to meet a lot of people around the country in various groups. It has also helped me to broaden my horizon where my writing is concerned.
After attending Caribbean School for Catholic Communication (CSCC) last year, I fell in love with journalism. "
LaToya Tidd, Graphic Artist
"The Vision newspaper has offered me the opportunity to explore different aspects of my gifts and use them to affect the lives of others in a positive way.
It has also improved my level of speed and has aided my interpretative skills to develop. The newspaper operates as retreat centre for me because I am quite relaxed and it strengthens my relationship with God.
I truly enjoy working with the Vision team whose aim is to impact on the youth in our society and since I share in the same vision, I am able to create my true purpose in visual form. "
Christophe Cole, Contributor
"Being a very active, young person in the Catholic Church, I became involved in Vision some three years ago. During that time, working with this group has influenced my life in a number of ways.
Firstly, it helped me to become a more responsible person as I was required to manage my time between working with the paper, working with the other groups with which I am involved and school.
It has also given me a chance to socialize with both members of the crew and other people.
Being involved with Vision also allowed me to see other people's perspectives by reading and editing the articles submitted. Finally, it has given me a chance to express my thoughts and feelings on paper. "

"I have as my goal for a long time now, to one day be a published writer; Vision has helped realize a part of that dream. I've learned how to truly express my self as an individual; I've learnt to accept criticism because not everybody will agree with what I write.
All in all.I've grown so much as an individual, as a writer, as a Christian youth.through the pages of Vision. The friendships I've formed with the team are lifelong ones.as we say here.'dem iz meh brethrens!'
So far the most memorable experience I've had because of Vision is to be in a bathroom line-up at a party and have a stranger pass me, do a double-take then ask if I write for a youth magazine and that she really enjoys reading my stuff!
While I get feedback from my friends, to have a stranger say something like that has truly inspired me to be better! Thank you Vision."
Vision is updated monthly. Articles are selected from the eight page supplement.
