It is indeed great to know that we can have this little forum to say hello and introduce you to another issue of Vision. Our fifteenth anniversary may have passed but there is so much more to do.
We would like to urge you, the readers to quit being shy and drop us a line, either email us or head to TTPost. We want to hear from you. On another note, would you believe Christmas is around the corner?
Are you interested in sending us your reflections on this year that was filled with ups and downs? Check the cover page for our contact information and remember that the second Friday of every month is the deadline to submit your articles or reports.
In this issue, we highlight issues surrounding AIDS. As World AIDS Day will be obbserved on December 1, we stop for a while and reflect. We wish to encourage all our readers to continue educating yourself and others about this plague. So many lives have been lost. Pray and pray for a cure and for persons to practise a more positive lifestyle that is pleasing to God.
Vision congratulates Mark Salina, one of our crew members, who recently graduated from UWI, and wish him the best. We say “BIG UP” to Moyzalyn Letren and Nicola Coombs Jones for contributing to this month’s issue.
The General Elections are over (thank God), we are just about politically exhausted from reading and hearing those never-ending advertisements and mud-slinging. We congratulate the PNM for their victory and pray that they will adhere to their promises, do what is right and continue to listen to the cries of the people.
We say “Bless up” to COP for leading a very inspirational, clean and spirited campaign. Don’t COP out now!
Read on and enjoy. |
